BACKGROUND

Healing path Foundation H.P. Inc. is a privately owned institution for alcoholic and drug dependents and in some cases, people with behavioral issues. Formerly known as the Dangerous Drugs Board-European Union Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, a government backed institution, established on July 01, 1992, a three year pilot project funded by the European Union (EU) and proposed by Key officials of the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) in the Port area, Manila. When the project was completed, however the DDB decided to sustain the center because of favorable assessment and encouraging feedbacks received from the patients themselves, their families, the trainees, student practitioners, independent evaluators, and an official monitoring team. Unfortunately, after a considerable period of time, the DDB decided to cease all financial support for the Center because of government cutbacks. And since the Program had been very helpful and beneficial to so many families, a number of graduates and families/codependents continue on with its noble mission of "Healing lives and Weaving souls", by Establishing Healing Path Foundation H.P. Inc. on December 28, 2012.
